Welcome! I believe in Seasons of Success (more about that later) and taking back control of our lives when they just simply seem to be going off the rails regarding our mental and physical health and wellbeing. I don't always believe in the norm and often reach outside conventional strategies and beliefs to find what works best without the usual traditional constraints that say, "this is what you should do," or "this is the only thing that will work." It is quite simply being open minded and giving something new a shot, especially when it can be backed up by a whole lot of science.
Rising and Living Forever Fearless is a little unconventional and does not always follow or agree with mainstream medical, but it works. I am living proof of that. But it's more than just my story. There is a whole lot of science to back up the principles that support Rising and Living Forever Fearless.
Come along with Rising and Living Forever Fearless and learn to take back your power. Type 2 diabetes and it’s related health challenges do not have to control your lifestyle. When you build courage into your life, you can be fearless and take back your power.
"The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."

It's important to say that other people can tell you, all day long, what they know. Come along with me and I can share with you what I have lived, what I've learned from research and trial and error.
As a woman diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at age 60 and someone who had struggled with chronic weight issues for decades, I have seen my share of struggles, but I've also seen my share of triumphs including being able to completely reverse my type 2 diabetes and its effects on my health and body and lose almost 70 pounds, so far, without the use of any medications. In 2023, my health issues had reached critical levels and I was feeling helpless and hopeless. I had been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I was given the standard diet for diabetics, told to eat 6 times a day and prescribed 3 different medications to "treat" it.
In September of that same year, a work colleague suggested I read "The Diabetes Code" by Dr. Jason Fung, which jump started the research and experimentation quest that would eventually become Rising and Living Forever Fearless. I have changed my lifestyle, gotten off all diabetes-related medications and taken responsibility for my own health. It's where the journey of my commitment to save my life began and it changed me forever.
Were there good days and bad days and challenges I doubted I could rise to? I think you already know the answers to those questions. But remember...
"Nothing that is worthwhile is ever easy."

The Journey - Rising and Living Forever Fearless: A Chubby Chick's Adventures with Type 2 Diabetes
Part 1
Here’s a tidbit about how my journey began. Rising and Living Forever Fearless was born from my story. I had no idea that my journey would lead to a new journey focused on helping others that would eventually become Rising and Living Forever Fearless, but here we are.
In May of 2023, my A1c was 6.6. In August 2023, it had risen to 7.1. And we won’t get into my roller coaster with my weight just yet.
In September 2023, it was obvious that what I was doing was not working as my A1c was not going down, I had GAINED another 2 pounds, and I was literally sick and tired due to the fallout from the diabetes medications. Though I really didn’t understand how much my life was going to change, in that September of 2023, it was the beginning of my journey, the journey that would become Rising and Living Forever Fearless and it would forever change my life.
By December 2023, my A1c was was down to 6.1 and my weight was declining at a notable pace. In February 2024, my A1c was and is holding steady at 5.4, which is great for a woman my age. I have lost 65 pounds and continue to lose, even now.
While losing weight was honestly not my intention when I began this journey, my blood sugar was my target, I have learned that weight and blood sugar have a complicated relationship and they are forever dependent upon and related to each other.
Thanks for sharing this tidbit of my Rising and Living Forever Fearless journey. There is so much more to come. Make it a great day!
"Always the journey, never the destination."
